Two snaps from the Isle of Wight trip.





In October 2025, during a trip to France we visited the newly restored Notre-Dame de Paris before moving on to visit Rouen. We also visited Monet's garden with its famous water-lilies. The holiday included a tour of the D-Day landing sites and the Pegasus Museum.

In April 2022 we stayed in Folkestone for a few days and visited lots of castles, the Battle of Britain museum, Chartwell , Great Dixter gardens, Canterbury cathedral and Chatham dockyards.

In November 2022 we travelled to Angelsey and stayed in Caernarfon. The visits included lots of mines, salt, copper and slate.The Menai bridge, Beaumaris castle and Bodnant gardens
In 2023 we did our first oversea trip to the Isle of Man given a guided tour by the gentleman in charge of their parliment and travelled on all the different trains on the island.
The winter trip was to Morecambe and travelled to Skipton, Kirby Lonsdale and Kendal visiting Levens and Leighton Hall.

This year it was the Northeast trip. From Hardwick hall to Durham, Beamish, Cragside Alnwick, Lindisfarne and the museums of Newcastle where we stayed in the city centre.
The next trip is South Wales at the end of November visiting the Gower peninsula, Swansea and Cardiff plus the home and history of Dylan Thomas.
Each year we have a walking holiday that is self booking, recently going to Chichester, Swanage, Stratford upon Avon and Matlock in the autumn..
